When one is a shapeshifter, it's debatable when trying to figure out your real form. To Chance's parents, he was born human. But as far as the man is concerned, he doesn't have a true form, instead taking on the form of a scruffy looking male tabby cat. When he does have to blend in with humans or needs a pair of thumbs, he reverts to his normal form, but of course, he doesn't know that.
Chance's feline form is that of a mackerel and classic tabby with semi-short fur. He has a stocky build, and normal-sized legs. Both eyes are a dull green color. Across his muzzle is a short scar from a fight with another tom over territory, and along his right flank is another scar from the same battle. He has a small tear in his left ear from a rat who decided to play dead.
When changing animal forms, distinct details are carried over from body to body. Chance's human form has somewhat long brown hair and green eyes. These eyes aren't as perfect as his feline eyes, and he requires glasses to see. All those scars are carried over as well, the scar across his muzzle transferring to across the bridge of his nose, his flank scar placing itself on his hip and thigh, and the tear in his ear looking almost as if an earring had been torn out.
A naked human running around isn't a pleasant thing, nor is it really a good idea. Chance stashes clothes throughout the city, so his wardrobe is a little... strange. He tries to get clothes that match, usually taking both a shirt and pants from the same person. He has a preference for dress clothes, so he's usually seen in a white button-up and black slacks. But he's not picky, and has a few sets of jeans and t-shirts stashed away.
