Over-large eyes blinked from the shadows of the picnic table, scanning the park carefully. They fell across an old woman on a park bench, looking up unhappily as the birds she was feeding scattered to avoid the two men jogging blindly by, she saw a small child trying to climb a tree, failing, and crying his way to his mother boasting a newly scraped knee. She saw a skinny dog digging through an overturned trash can for a scrap of food, before it was chased off by an on-duty officer.
Nothing was amiss. Good.
"FOUND YOU!"
Quinn shrieked and jumped, bonking her head comically on the underside of the picnic table before falling splayed. She looked up, and glared at the young girl leaning under the table and grinning at her.
"No fair," Quinn pouted, "you must have peeked and seen me hide."
The little blonde giggled. "Nuh uh. I didn't. Come on, now we have to find Jeffery."
She skipped off, and Quinn crawled from under the table dusting the dirt from her back before joining the quest to find Jeffery. She ponderously passed by his hiding place twice, allowing the little blonde to find him herself. The two wrestled in a fit of squeals, and Quinn cheered them both on alternately.
Soon enough, their fun was over, and the children's mother came over. They clung to Quinn's legs, and she to them, before their mother thanked her for watching them.
"I didn't think I was going to have such an easy time of keeping them in check," she admitted, one tiny wrist in each hand. "Thank you..."
"Quinn," she replied with a grin. "Thank you for bringing such fun kids to the park."
And now... She was alone. She watched the family's backs before they rounded a corner and were lost to sight. She squinted at the sun, still high and shining, warming those below in its early afternoon heat. She looked away, and stood forlorn.
Not playing with little kids in the park was lame. What else was there to do?

(mind if i pop in lol)
"Lets see is there anything new i can do to this" said Matthias to himself and tried to scan the area but the sun stopped his "sight" to about 10 ft all around him so he decided to not do anything to showy and he found a small pool of water and froze it and hooked up his mp3 and touched the surface of the ice and the ice started flowing like water and danced around to the music he was listening to.
And he added a little lightning under the ice so it added a soft glowing effect to it and when the song ended the ice went away and he got up and went to find another small pool of water and because of the sun he couldn't "see" Quinn and walked right into her and they both fell down and Matthias apologized "Sorry wasn't watching where i was going"

Quinn's eyes popped open as she was struck in the back, and she gave a "whoop" as she fell. She was very talented at making contact with the ground, however, so no harm came to her as she landed on her shoulder. She sat up, eyes wide and dazed, before she looked down at the boy who'd knocked her over. He muttered an apology, and she just laughed.
"It's alright," she said with a grin, "you really surprised me good, there." She disentangled herself quickly, and spring to her energetic feet. She offered her hand to help him up. "I'm Quinn," she greeted readily, "What's your name?"

"Its Matthias" said Matthias and accepted the help up and dusted himself off."So what were you doing before i knocked you over" laughed Matthias and he made sure the that he still had his sunglasses so he could "see" better.
He tried to scan the area again but he only got a few feet more and
he stumbled a little because of his leg was acting up so he gave it a quick shock trying not to reveal his powers but also fix his leg so he could walk better.

Quinn helped dust him off as he spoke, before she stood back to consider what she was doing before being bumped into. She never noticed a thing as he fooled with his powers to jump start his leg. "Well," she started, "I walked into the park, and saw a bunch of kids on the play set. It looked like fun, so I joined in. We started playing tag, which then turned into hide-and-seek. Soon kids were leaving, and eventually I was alone. So... I guess I wasn't doing anything." She beamed then, as if proud of her story and its conclusion.
She hardly missed a beat before she was talking again. "I like your sunglasses. Classy. Do they tint everything a cool color? I've seen some that do that, and not the cheap star-shaped ones either. As much as I like those, I mean."

"I wouldn't know i don't really pay attention and he activated his stone powers and made some stone dust on the ground to small to see so his eyes would look ordinary and handed the sunglasses to Quinn and waited to know what she saw through the sunglasses.
As he waited for her response and he felt a tremor near by and said "I'll be back" and he races towards the tremor and finds a fault line separating and he throws down a smoke bomb and armors up and with some strain he closes the gap and because of the sun and he was already using his powers before with the mp3 he past out but his armor didn't go away this time.
